At Each Workshop…

This is an educational and (optionally) social wine club, versus wine clubs focused on wine sales.
Using your handy members shopping guide, you’ll purchase all of the wines in advance, at your favorite local or online wine shop.
TANGO: certainly, it’s a beautiful Argentine dance, but the choice behind this name is because TANGO means “I touch” in Latin. This single verb reminds us that wine is a sensory experience.
Tango wine club is focused on 1) providing high-quality wine instruction, in a low-pressure environment — so that you can get better at selecting a wine at your next dining out experience, or at your favorite wine shop, and 2) helping you slow down and savor wine, enjoying its nuances while learning about its formal “structural characteristics.”
In each workshop, you’ll discover that session’s wine varietal(s) and wine styles, including the typical flavor profiles of these wines, and will travel (virtually) to regions best known for them, viewing some beautiful landscapes along the way. Learn some tips about food pairings, too!
You will be led through a guided tasting of the wines you purchased in advance, using a shopping guide that you’ll receive after you register, so that you can make connections to the information you are learning about that wine style.
If you’re participating in a series, compared to a single à la carte workshop offering, you’re considered a member for the duration of that series and will get access to special perks.
